aller Behutsamkeit - davon ausgehen, daß über folgende Feststellungen cum grano

An overview of the situation of Catholic Church Papers in the Federal Republic of Germany shows that the Church Press as it now exists ( especially the Diocesan weeklies) is still an important power, but within the Church itself this power to inform is not used as well as it could be. The flow of information from the official Church neglects this possibility to some considerable extent. The existing papers, on the other hand, can only have a better Output by having their editorial offices extended and by seeing their own limitations and their special opportunity for effectiveness at this given moment: to be a regional medium of information for the respective diocese. In order to serve this aim, they must abstain from all journalistic work which would be too big for their existing staff. As an instrument
of information on the Church at local and regional level, the Church Press could make itself indispensible.
